- To achieve holistic development of students through sports, games, fine arts, cultural, literary, departmental association and various personality development and activities.
About the Department:
The Department of Information Technology was restored at COEIT in the year 2007. The department of Information Technology at COEIT has a set of well qualified and experienced faculty with state of the art laboratories to meet the quality education required for present challenging social and industrial needs.
The department has around: 37 students and 4 teaching staff. The existing total intake of students is 60 each every year. The students are not only trained in academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through in-plant training sessions to be in the vanguard of pioneering dexterity.
The department takes initiative in conducting co-curricular and extracurricular activities along with the academics. Core facilities such as fully fledged common computer center, internet lab, seminar hall and audio & video exhibits are available in the department to give the academic program the required thrust.
The Department of Information Technology has set up a library to support the students as well as the staffs in their academic purpose. There are 100 books available in the department Library. Also the library has a large collection of CD's, Seminar Reports, Project Reports, Journals, Monograph etc.
